We’ll hit the road at 10 am. Our first stop is Kendall Jackson. We all know the label, but only insiders get to tour the KJ Estate Garden with Master Gardner Tucker Taylor and enjoy an exclusive lunch prepared by Chef Kent Rathbun. The gardens sit on 4 spectacular acres. Tucker and his team have been busy selling KJ estate produce to Michelin Star restaurants in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. We’ll taste wine from KJ to Cardinale and we know you will enjoy them all.
After lunch we head to the far east end of Santa Rosa to the stunning Coursey Graves Winery on Bennett Mountain where we will spend time with our favorite Kiwi. Cabell Coursey has been making wine for over 20 years. His Bordeaux, Rhones, and Burgundy is getting huge acclaim and we’re excited to share a taste.
Next up, it’s back to the hotel for a quick freshen up followed by a short walk to the Harris Gallery where we will be delighted with a private, champagne tour of the gallery and their current works by co-owner, Alex Harris .
And if that’s not enough, our group has been invited to preview Matheson on the square before its official debut. It’s one of the most anticipated Northern California restaurant openings in over a decade! Meet the owners and hear the story of how our local and highly decorated Chef Dustin Vallette’s brought this three-story culinary vision to life. Our special guest for the evening are Sam and Jennifer Lando, who will share an exclusive assortment of their limited production/highly sought after Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. This will be a multi-course menu paired with the LANDO wines and will be a memory to last a lifetime.
