DAY 1

Wednesday, June 23rd: Sonoma Here We Come!

Upon arrival, we’ll step onto the luxury California Wine Tours bus and head for Sonoma. From the moment you step aboard, you will know you have arrived! Sit back and relax while you enjoy a gourmet box lunch from Basque Boulangerie while we make our way to check-in at the Harmon Guest House. Relax or spend a few minutes exploring the charming town of Healdsburg. Next, we’ll head out for a private winery dinner experience hosted by Don and Patsy Calegari, owners of Calegari Vineyard, and Sam and Jennifer Lando, owners of LANDO Wines. Our meal and tasting is themed “wine country” and celebrates the organic and seasonal ingredients that most inspire Chef Sampietro, who owns the “word of mouth” only catering company St. Peter’s Fare. The vineyard is not open to the public and has one of the most beautiful views in Sonoma.

DAY 2

Thursday, June 24th: Get Ready for a Fun Filled Day.

We’ll hit the road at 10 am. Our first stop is Kendall Jackson. We all know the label, but only insiders get to tour the KJ Estate Garden with Master Gardner Tucker Taylor and enjoy an exclusive lunch prepared by Chef Kent Rathbun. The gardens sit on 4 spectacular acres. Tucker and his team have been busy selling KJ estate produce to Michelin Star restaurants in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. We’ll taste wine from KJ to Cardinale and we know you will enjoy them all.

After lunch we head to the far east end of Santa Rosa to the stunning Coursey Graves Winery on Bennett Mountain where we will spend time with our favorite Georgia boy. Cabell Coursey moved to the west coast for college and got bitten by the winemaking bug while on exchange in Burgundy.  Today, he has been making wine for over 20 years. His Bordeaux, Rhones, and Burgundy wines are garnering huge acclaim and we’re excited to share a taste.

Next up, it’s back to the hotel for a quick freshen up followed by a short walk to the Harris Gallery where we will be delighted with a private, champagne tour of the gallery and their current works by co-owner, Alex Harris .

And if that’s not enough, our group has been invited to preview Matheson on the square before its official debut. It’s one of the most anticipated Northern California restaurant openings in over a decade! Meet the owners and hear the story of how our local and highly decorated Chef Dustin Vallette’s brought this three-story culinary vision to life. Our special guests for the evening are Sam and Jennifer Lando, who will share an exclusive assortment of their limited production/highly sought after Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. This will be a multi-course menu paired with the LANDO wines and will be a memory to last a lifetime.

DAY 3

Friday, June 25th: And we’re off to Napa Valley. Krupp Brothers, Dakota Shy & Dinner featuring Cade, Plumpjack, and Adaptation

Pack up and board the bus because Friday morning we’re heading out for two tastings and dinner featuring Cade, Plumpjack, and Adaptation Wines. The first stop of day is a visit to Krupp Brothers Estate to spend one-on-one time with Dr. Jan Krupp. Who loves paella? That’s good because we’ll tour the Tuscan-inspired estate, experience a private tour of the winery and bucolic vineyard, and taste through some of his favorite wines. You’ll hear first-hand how Jan and his brothers nurtured a passion for wine over decades. Learn how Jan – an internist with a private medical practice – pursued his winemaking as a hobby for 15 years and how he would inevitably become one of Napa’s most iconic vineyards, Stagecoach.

Next, we’ll make a quick stop at Dakota Shy and get the inside scoop on how Todd Newman and Tom Garrett have made their mark on Napa Valley, gaining notoriety from Wine Spectator, Town & Country, and Food & Wine.

It is time to check into the Senza Hotel and freshen up before our next stop! Senza is owned by Dallas’ own Kathryn and Craig Hall.

We’re invited to Dinner at Cade Winery! Our day 3 dinner experience takes place on the terrace overlooking a breathtaking view of Napa Valley. Cade is known for honoring the land, both aesthetically and ecologically. Their philosophy of making luxury wine in harmony with the environment will be felt as we enjoy a Reception and 3-Course Seated Dinner featuring Cade, Plumpjack, and Adaptation Wines.

Our day starts at 1:30pm with a trip to Round Pond Estate for lunch in the Green Arbor section of their spectacular garden.
After lunch, we’re heading back to the hotel to relax! We’ll need plenty of time to prepare for the highlight of our Behind the Scenes Wine Tour. Few have the opportunity to enjoy a special dinner at Darioush. The multi-course wine-paired dinner is specially designed by Estate Chef, Sean Massey. We’ll kick off our dining experience with a reception featuring passed canapes before being led on a short walking tour, making several stops before settling into the communal table outdoors under the pistache trees to enjoy a multi-course menu celebrating Darioush Signature wine. It’ll be the piece de resistance… and each insider will receive a bottle of 2018 Darioush Signature Cab or 2019 Darioush Sauvignon Blanc.
